Hi everyone,
In this post I won’t write about shoes or our company, but will tell you something that just happened to me and caught my attention:
Here I’m, seated at the airport waiting for my plane to leave Miami going to LAX.
This is not unusual for me and shouldn’t be for any of my colleagues.
On the good notes all this travelling means that our business is getting stronger and we need to keep improving. This means adding more styles, renegotiate with our suppliers, upgrade our hardware, create new features to the site, hire more people and the list goes longer.
But, when you go to the counter and they recognize you because you been there so many times, that really catch my attention.
I haven’t realized till now, but, for me, the fact of pack and unpack in less than 10 minutes has become an habit.
When there is any important issue to discuss or any deal on the table I do not hesitate on packing and jump on the next available flight. So I spend most of the time on a coach (and when I get lucky a first class) seat. That’s when I do most of my thinking and I guess that’s why BuyAndWalk.com is flying so high
But, is this habit an issue to me? Absolutely no! Because, like any other BuyAndWalk.com staff member, our commitment it’s with you and make the company grow by providing the best styles, prices and customer services. Those three ingredients have been the key for our success so far, and we base our expansion plans on them. Our priority has been and will be our past, present and future customers.
But honestly, all this travelling has been very easy because I do not have kids. I do have a family which I miss when I’m not in town, but I do not have children. So I guess once you have kids, all this traveling, coming back and forth, and being out of town is not easy. Not easy for them, neither for the parents.
So here, sitting at the Miami airport, I do question myself and would like to know your opinion.
So go ahead, don’t be shy and answer me back. I have a 3 hours waiting

Take care,

David Zukerman

Hi Everyone,
In this time of crisis, when companies are going bankruptcy or cutting jobs to survive, we have decided to duplicate the customer service representatives by the end of December 2008.
Although for some experts this represents a risky move, we feel this is the right way to give our clients the customer service they deserve.
As of now our Human Resources Department is interviewing the candidates and by the end of next week we should have the final list with all the candidates that will fill the Customer Service Representative positions.
Also, I would like to congratulate Mr. Enrique Pascual, BuyAndWalk.com’s IT Project Leader, who was the responsible to create our blog and make it the right place for you and us to interact with each other. Personally I think he did a great job. Although it took him a while, as we now, good things take time to be created and developed (just like a good whiskey).
On further posts I will introduce my self and get you to know me a little bit better. But again, that’s for my next posts.

Take care and enjoy the Black Friday!
